Workshop fake news for Welzijn Capelle

For welfare organisation Welzijn Capelle, I am training the volunteers and staff on a very relevant topic: how to recognize fake news? Using some basic ground rules, combined with simple scientific insights and methods, I help the participants to sort out what is real and what not. The workshop also covers topics such as social media and AI.

Member of the board, Yacht Club Hellevoetsluis

I am really proud to take on this volunteer position: member of the board of Yacht Club Hellevoetsluis, or as it is own in Dutch: Watersportvereniging Hellevoetsluis. Watersportvereniging Hellevoetsluis is an active sailing club with over 400 members, located in Hellevoetsluis, on the Haringvliet, with easy access to the Dutch coast and the North Sea. I will be responsible for communications and external affairs. Happy sailing!

Marketing support for ClimateLaunchpad 2020: Global Grand Finale

I was proud to work on the PR and Marcom of this season’s ClimateLaunchpad competition again. Since 2016, I’ve been involved in organizing the biggest green business competition in the world. This year was different, as we had to mutate this worldwide competition in a digital one. With awesome speakers, jury members and winners, we managed to grow the competition to 60 countries this year, with over 3.000(!) participating teams.

 

Een bijzondere klus: hosten van een webinar voor The Hague Convention Bureau

Naar aanleiding van het artikel “Merken in crisistijd”, werd ik door het The Hague Convention Bureau uitgenodigd om hun webinar te hosten “How are Destination Marketing Communications strategies evolving in Corona time?” With 4 international panelists and over 100 international participants, it was great to moderate interesting content on (city)marketing during Corona-time.
